Terms of Service
Last updated August 10, 2026
These terms
By using Kinara you agree to these terms. If you are using Kinara on behalf of a gym or business, you confirm you are authorised to accept them for that organisation.
What Kinara is
Kinara is software that trainers and gyms use to schedule sessions, plan workouts, track progress, communicate with clients, and bill for services. Kinara is not a gym, does not employ trainers, and does not deliver training itself. Your training relationship is with your trainer or gym, not with Kinara.
Not medical advice
Kinara does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Workout and program suggestions — including those generated automatically — are informational, are not a substitute for professional judgement, and are always subject to review by your trainer. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting or changing an exercise programme, and stop and seek help if you experience pain, dizziness, or other concerning symptoms. Exercise carries inherent risk of injury, which you accept when you train.
Your account
Keep your password confidential and your account details accurate; you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised. Clients are normally invited by a trainer or gym rather than signing up directly.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Kinara unlawfully, or to harass, endanger, or defraud anyone;
- access data belonging to clients or organisations you are not authorised to see;
- interfere with the service — probing, scraping, overloading, or circumventing security or access controls;
- resell or redistribute the service without our written permission.
Content you provide
You keep ownership of the content you put into Kinara — client records, workout plans, notes. You grant us the permission needed to host, process, and display it in order to run the service. You are responsible for having the right to provide it, including any consent required from the clients it describes.
Payments
Payments between clients and gyms are processed by Stripe and are governed by the gym or trainer’s own pricing, cancellation, and refund policies — not by Kinara. Fees for Kinara subscriptions are as agreed with the account holder. Disputes about a session, package, or refund should be raised with your gym or trainer first.
Text messages and email
Text messages are optional and require consent from the client, described in our text messaging program disclosure. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. Some email is transactional — booking confirmations, billing notices — and is part of the service rather than marketing.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep Kinara available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we may change or discontinue features. The service is provided “as is” without warranties to the fullest extent the law allows. To the extent permitted by law, Kinara is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending your use
You may stop using Kinara at any time; account holders can request closure by emailing support. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms or where required by law.
